Getting back on the bandwagon ...

Well, after a year long hiatus, I'm committing to re-join the blogging world. How life gets away from you when you have two kids, a dog, husband, full time job and house to run! I'm blessed beyond measure and am excited to document and share our family's adventures with you. So what's happened in the past year??? Obviously a lot but rather than try and catch up on all of the past year, we'll just start at Lily's birthday. Our baby girl turned 1 on March 18th and we celebrated in grand style with a wonderful party with our family.

We always kick birthdays off with a special birthday breakfast!

Her party was 'Citrus Splash' and I had a blast making all of the decor for her special day!

Steven rocked the grill in mad style with his apron that matched the party theme (it partly makes up for the fact he didn't wear the appropriate colors - lol)!!

We couldn't have asked for a better day to celebrate with our friends and family. It was our inaugural party on the new deck and we can't wait to have more!

And Lily loved her cake - although maybe not as much as Jay! :0)

It took her a while to get into it but once she did ...

It was a beautiful day celebrating a beautiful little girl! She's such a joy and blessing in our lives! It's hard to believe it's been a year since she was born.
